I always wear black sweat socks, and black sneakers. Because I juggle in my shows I need to be fleet of foot yet somewhat professional looking. I always wear black dress pants and no one has ever commented on my foot wear.

Al,
I do the same as you ... black socks, sneakers and dress pants. For more formal adult parties, I would wear regular dress shoes. Dan. |

I used to wear my western boots, until my feet started to bother me even more. Lately, I've been wearing my black mocassins/loafers, because of the low heel.

I wear black leather dance shoes with a flamenco heel. These shoes are only worn indoors, during the show. The leather soles allow for easy, soft movements on stage, and the slightly elevated height of the flamenco heel provides a more upright look to the audience.

After looking at so many other magicians wearing wild colored sneaks I bought a pair of pink Adidas that I wear for shows.

I have a pair of shower shoes, but, I don't actually wear them in the shower. Now you've all got me wondering, should they actually be called non-shower shoes? Mary, help me out here???

A lot of kids magicians wear a kid's show costume, and the guys that I look up to are wearing wild footwear. Is it follow the leader, or is it a distinctive style????? I know of no one else who wears pink sneaks. BTW I bought a second pair of Adidas sneaks to perform in. They are black with the Rastafarian green, yellow, and red stripes. All the kids give me the thumbs up, and the adults haven't a clue.

I wear saddle shoes to all my shows, even kid shows.
Here's a link of what they look like. I have different colors. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/1901-saddle-......0&pprd=0 I see so many locals wearing the black wing tip shoes and just don't like them. My personal taste though.

Al, I know lots of little girls who wear pink sneakers. I'm surprised they come in your size.
I'm just teasing you anyway. I'm the last person on earth who should judge people on the non-conformity of their foot wear. To semi-quote my grandpa, I wear a 7 but an 8 feels so good I buy a 9. -Mary Mowder |

You can't buy pink sneaks in my size unless they are special ordered. Just like the suspenders and hat is the sign of a juggler, so is outrageous foot ware sign of the kids magician. You can see my pink sneaks on my facebook fan page. Be sure to click the "like" button too. http://www.facebook.com/AlAngelloJuggler......adelphia

Al,
Pink Sneaks doesn't do them justice. I do "like" but I'm unwilling to sign up for Facebook. Chalk it up to paranoia. -Mary Mowder |

Actually when I perform my shows, it's pretty much the only time that I wear anything on my feet at all.
