Good news...I was cleaning up and found a couple of old coins that I'd completely forgotten about. I took them to the coin shop in town and was able to trade those three coins for 3 Morgans.
The Ike's are still good for handling, but wow...smooth and quiet - I'm already liking these babies. JD

I had some silver bullion coins...nothing special (at least I don't think they were special :-D )

I like the feel of the Ike's, and Todd Lassen's new Ike gaffs are beautiful! And the Copper Walkers go perfectly with them for those gaffs!

I recently spent close to $300 to purchase a gaffed set of Walking Liberties from one of the top magic coin machinists. When I felt that the set needed further tweaking, the machinist complained that the set worked far better when made up in Morgans. If I had made the upgrade, it would have cost me an additional $200. Now a high earning professional magician or an affluent hobbyist might be able to justify spending $500 on a gaffed coin set, but on my low fixed income I can think of far better things to purchase with that kind of money.
