Hello everyone! I have a quick question. Is there a variant of this effect that can be achieved without assistance? If so where could I find it?

'Window' by David Stone whilst technically not exactly a CTW effect more of a card change through window effect that can be performed without assistance. The card (gimmick) would have to placed on the back of the window prior to your performance however, it is a very good effect that gets strong reactions. You can view a trailer here:

All the hidden forced cards tricks are somehow a variation on this theme isn't it ?
But you are asking for a execution of specifically the window trick I suppose, and I can not help you with that one. Personally the 3 of hearts is chronically stuck on my skull under my hat. Merlin |

I own Sean Bougnia's WindoMation. I used it at an after dinner party mostly drunk adult types there. Drunk spectators are the best lol. They went nuts!
WindoMation is a bit pricy but it works for my one man show:) |

'Window' by David Stone was my initial thought as well, but after doing a bit of research online, I would also suggest you check out JP Vallerino's version of the signed card through window trick. It is quite spectacular, even with a sober audience.

I am yet to buy Window by David Stone. Waiting for the price to go down a bit I would go for "Window" in a professional cabaret show, once I get my hands on it. Otherwise I usually do Kaos by Daniel Garcia. It's impromptu, signed card through glass.

Why don't you just do a normal card through window or for a better impact, a torn corner card through window. You can even do the classic signed card through window using an assistant. If you don't use/want 2 use n assistant then use the torn corner method (alot of them are out there). Here is also a genius idea I've seen it used, Idk by who but its a "wrong" card through window....almost an Impromptu version of David Stone's Window.
An audience member selects a card from a deck of cards, card is returned & shuffled by the audience member, the magician fails to find the card of the spectator and tosses the deck in anger on a window glass. 1 card gets stuck on the window glass on your side. But its the wrong card. Spectatos seems surprised while the magician seems suspicious, he asks the spec to remove the card and behind it on the OTHER SIDE of the window glass would be the spectator's card. Absoloutley mind blowing ! If your budget is high Id recomment Windomation, the greatest card through window in the market ive ever seen. Also, am I the only 1 here that is disappointed by Kaos ? In real life OBVIOUSLY your gonna have spectators on both sides of the window glass and will be hard to control a crowd. |
