Before I make my purchase I would like to know if magic DVDs run on overseas DVD machines ( Austrlaian ) or what about X-Box machines?
Kind regards, Sam Griffin

The Majority of magic dvd's are classified as 'zone 0' which is reserved for special interest dvd's (ie non movies).
These should work on an x-box (no guarantees though), and will definitly work on most regular dvd players. You should also note that the majority of dvd's are filmed in NTSC format, which means your TV will have to have the ability to switch between the PAL (australian standard) format and NTSC. Most newer TV's will have this feature. Hope this helps... |

Load DVD-X and the XBOX becomes a multi-region DVD player.
>> DVD-X Play all region DVD movies without the expensive dongle/remote. ALL controls can be accessed via your XBOX game controller. Sub Menu system features identical to stand alone DVD player. Fully AC-3, Dolby Digital & DTS Compatible. Full Multiregion Support. No dashboard patch needed - this is a stand alone application. Can be run from disc (CDRW - won't work on DVDR) or straight from Hard Drive |
