I use to do a bowl routine using the game of in the hand or in the pocket theme. For a final load I used a rubber hand with a ball in the hand. No matter how the spectator guessed he was right the ball was in the hand and the bowl.

Johhny Brown had the best I ever saw.... althuogh it was a Chop Cup. Final load was a pin-cushion. He said 'In case you're asking where the pins are.......' and he showed the interior of the cup, and hundreds of pins filled the interior, criss-crossing like a sword cabinet.
I made one up with an old Tannen's hammered copper chop cup (actually two chop cups), but sold it years ago. If you bought it, and don't use it, I would like to buy it back. |

I devised a load for a pal of mine using a drum head tube loader. It just fit in the cup and with it filled with rice and a flash paper covering it was perfect for his act as he had a tiny candle burning from a previous trick. He moved the cup over the candle the flash paper went off and the rice dropped to the table.
