Hi I have just purchased some ultra elastic thread ,
I have used a thread reel occasionly before but didn't feel confident enough with it as sometimes breaks so thought I'd experiment. Anyway the ultra elastic thread is very strong but has to be right conditions lighting etc. and I would like some tips on this and any advice on what elastic thread is best as I think this is the I.T that suits me the most. It's just the light catching it that is the only down side. I like the fact it is cheap and therefore you can experiment and not worry about wasting it. The way I have used it so far has not been in close-up situations but I have set up the it in a spot amongst rubbish to a paper cup and remember where hook is and made cup float up (which you can imagine looks pretty amazing). Sometimes a little bit of effort for that amazing reaction is worth it anway amy tips greatly appreciated. Jeremy UK |

Jeremy, if I remember well the Ultra Elastic Thread is the IT sold by Ben Harris specifically for his "Zoom" effect. In terms of visibility, the Michael Ammar version is better for floating purposes.
