Cool! Thanks for your advice and input, Bob.

For quite awhile, I had considered one of the VHS to DVD player/recorders like Clinton Magus mentioned, but for me that would also entail buying a new TV. The good TV is in the living room and set up for family. The one in the backroom (my domain) won't change the input. I can't even hook a DVD player to it. But as long as I can go through the computer, I can monitor any dubbing and editing I need to do. I think this will be the better option, and the company is reliable too. Eventually, I'll spring for a new TV for the backroom, but I tend to knock my pins down one at a time. Smile
