Would be nice to have a 'high quality' version included, say on standard bikes. I do like having the option of choosing your deck though.
This is the sort of trick where I do expect to see a version 2 mind. |

I also use the cooler with a variety of decks Bicycle/Tally Ho, even bridge sized decks and I would never bother changing the labels on the Cooler. Its only important that it looks like a regular card case, whether it matches the decks or not no spectator would ever bother IMO (even if they wanted to they don't know the difference) |

Ahhhh man, totally regret buying this. THIS IS my personal opinion based on my personal experience, so look away now if you swear by this product.
FOR me... the thing is too nacky. I've been practicing with it for 7 days and just cannot get it down smoothly. In fact, I'd say only 1 in 3 switches look smooth. Cannot possibly risk this out in the real world yet. Nice concept and all, but, the actual mechanic of it is too frustrating. It almost needs to be a bit bigger - you have to be pretty EXACT with the way you square up the cards before lifting. If you are out by a Millimetre... disaster. ONE THING IS FOR SURE, This dam thing DOES NOT hold a full deck of cards, let me confirm this. I have to remove a whopping 7 Cards to eliminate spillage and cards slipping out. And, even then, the actual front of the case looks sunk into the frame. Really, it just doesn't feel or look perfect enough. I hear you tell me it doesn't have to be perfect to fool spectators, but my god, this thing is a NIGHTMARE to bring in and out of play. Just holding the cards inside the shell is a real pain.... it's hard to place the cooler on the table without the cards spilling out from the sides. In fact, I'd say this is a serious headache, hand ache.... magic ache. I really wanted this product to be good, and I am SO SURPRISED so many people love this. In fact, I don't believe it. I think, people are IN LOVE with the concept which is great, but I have a feeling there are many many out there who are just as frustrated as me. I just feel like the ergonomics of the thing need to be improved a bit - the FRAME needs to come level with the top - needs to be bigger to hide the cards easier without severe fiddling. I wonder how many takes it really took them in the demos to make it look so smooth?????? On that note, I think the DVD is pretty awful. There's just not enough material to justify the high price of the product. As I said, I am not criticising this product for the sake of it. I will continue to try and get the hand of it, but for some reason, I am finding it too impractical and nacky - really hit and miss for smoothness. IN FACT, my saviour idea is for spec to wrap small elastic band around the deck when shuffled. THEN, DO THE SWITCH - the bands I find keep the deck square... a little unusual, but it works 10 times easier. Maybe just say "Now you've shuffled them, make sure I cannot change the order - put a band around" GUYS, try the band... keeps the cards in place... without it.... nightmare. I really want someone to give a thorough product analysis like I have... thanks

Try picking it up from the bottom. Or the corners. Works great.

And as for removing 7 cards from the deck, ask someone who has access to Secret Sessions to give you Iceblade's elegant solution. Using his bit of artistry The Cooler comfortable accomodates a 52 card pack.

Send me a PM if you are interested 2) Of course you have to hold the cards with care, this is normal you cannot handle the thing like a normal case as it isn't one 3) As for the frame coming level with the top, I also considered that, but there are is a reason why it works better this way: When you move the cards with a scooping actions it helps to "feel" the correct place as the cards move (don't want to reveal more here). I NEVER place the cards directly on the Cooler, Christian I think provides a nice handling on that in the DVD. Havign said all that, as I noted in my review there is much room for improvement. The gimmick should be made of a light metal instead of plastic (aluminum would be great) and there should be printed sticker labels provided with the product. Also, the product could be a tad cheaper I might add. PS: I have also posted a handling tip in the secret sessions part to make the operation smoother |

I concur with Robert who gave me that advice some weeks ago now. It prevents bending of the device basically. I think it's worth the extra hassle Of carrying this around just because of the miracles that you can perform with a deck of cards. (or two).
