Plans for the 4'th of July weekend? I got lazy and didn't make any plans, but I'm making last minute stuff.

My wife and I are donating blood in the morning, then joining our neighborhood block party in the afternoon/evening. We may have some lawyer and his girlfriend stop by for a visit. I'll probably make some salsa (Habanero, Tomatillo, and Orange for the hardy souls, something milder with serranos and roasted tomatoes for the rest) and some chili (maybe vegetarian, maybe not). I wish that I had some ripe chilies on my plants; I have serranos, habaneros, bhut jolokias, cayennes, de arboles, kung paos, and poblanos, but only a couple of serranos and one poblano are starting to ripen.

You might want to avoid that. I've learned that neighbor's get angry when you blow their stuff up.

It's looking like a great 4th of July. My son and I have been invited by Paul Revere and The Raiders to hang out with them for the day on the 4th. Then, of course, we'll be enjoying the concert that evening.
