Hi Jim
do you find that restaurant audiences react more enthusiastically to magic than a stage audience? I wondered if the "in your face" nature of restaurant magic had a bigger impact on the audience. Or is it just different? ML |

I think that almost anyone who does this kind of work will agree that spectators are always saying things like, "I can't believe that I'm this close and I can't see how it's done..." or things like that.
Close-up magic is very intimate and impacts people at a completely different level than stage magic. |

I know this will sound like I'm bragging on myself unforgivably here, but some friends of mine have been much more impressed with the close-up magic I've shown them than they were with my David Copperfield DVD or any of the World's Greatest Magic shows . . . just because it was all happening right in front of their faces.
