Dynamike, I have not noticed anything new on the market. You have to remember, stand-up magic is not the interest any longer. It only for those that want to present a stand-up show. Currently, the market is filled with close-up tricks, that is more profitable to sell.

Stand-up / Stage Magic has always been at a stand still when it comes to new ideas. It seems no once can invent something new for the stage performer. Even the new items have been re-hashed close-up magic, because today's magicians want something easy to carry and set up and does not require an Assistant or an extra table to perform the trick on. You hear a lot today the phrase, "Packs small and Plays Big". That is were we are at today.

Having more then one props, makes prop management very difficult, because then it requires additional space most venues do not provide for the performer.

As far as DVDs, usually just having the information is not enough, it usually involves a prop of some kind.

I would be interested in know of any live stock DVDs besides Dove Magic that you may know about? I cannot think of any with dogs, cats, fish, snakes, etc.
