I had just finished a gig on a ship docked in the port, the ships guests along with
over half a million folks along the bay awaited the fireworks show entitled,
"Big Bam Boom", however, each and every firework ignited simultaneously!
Premature Ignition

"Big Bam, Bust!"

Folks were still waiting for over an hour after the premature launch, because
they couldn't believe this wasn't just a pre launch to get our attention.

"Don't look at me was all I could say"

The company now wants to have a "makeup show" to avoid repaying The Port of
San Diego back the $400,000 fee for the show.
Devious Deceptions
"Gadol Elohai!"
L'Chaim!

Did you see that fireworks tent that caught fire somewhere in W. VA last week? They had some large arial works that were going off at ground level as well as low in the air. It went on for about half an hour and was was quite impressive.

Don't you hate when that happens?

It reminds me of the New York Macy's day fireworks almost 25years ago. As the finale went of that barge the fireworks were housed on blew up. People thought is was a hall of a finale and did not realize it had been an accident. Many people ooohed and aaaahed. Some people laughed too when they heard what happened. Laughter dried up fast when it came out that four people were killed in that mishap.

I am glad no one was hurt in the San Diego error.
