Hi all,
I currently have 2 sound setups #1 a Paso Procast 50 that I use for smaller events. I am buying the mic for this setup. #2 a Fender Passport 150D that I use for larger shows. I bought a Countryman E6i for the #2 setup but I bought the wrong one. It's omnidirectional and I constantly have problem in smaller venues with feedback. (I didn't really know there were options and just bought one off ebay). I want to be sure to get the right mic for the job and am hoping someone on here with more sound experience will know how to help me. During my magic shows, I speak a lot but have a few routines to music (I don't sing if that makes a difference) that I occassionally toss in a few words. This is what I think I need: directional no band (general speaking) Any suggestions on 1mm or 2mm wire? I will be the only one using the mic and I feel like my current E6i is too flexible. Should I get the E6? Does any of this make sense to anybody
Thanks for your help. Joey D
