Hi, Chory. In your first 11 posts, I’m seeing a pattern. At the Café, we love magic, performing it, talking about it, sometimes even inventing it. And we like helping each other to get better at doing it.

But it does require a little effort on your part. Some study, some research, even just following the links that others give you.

Here’s what we know about you so far. You live in Australia, you have tan skin, you’re a complete beginner who’s never been into a magic shop, and you’d REALLY love to pull money out of thin air. (None of these are bad things or good, just making a point.)

Not to be rude, but you should really introduce yourself. There’s a whole section just for introductions, and some very nice people will write back. How old are you? How long have you been interested in magic? Are there shops close to where you live? What books have you read?

BTW, BOOKS are really the place to start. We’ve all had the experience of spending way too much money on gadgets, when the real magic comes from education.

Anyhow, Welcome to the Café. Everything you’d ever want to know about magic is in here; but you might have to do a little of the digging for yourself!
