Who's the most famous person you ever met?

I narrowly missed having lunch with my hero, Neil Armstrong. He was in Tralee, Ireland, to open a major exhibition in the Kerry County Museum about lunar exploration. 40,000 people crowded the square in front of the museum to hear him speak. I took a day off work to drive down for the event.

At the end I decided to drop in on a fellow magician, who had his own restaurant in the town. But the traffic was crazy, so I turned around and went home. A few days later he told me that Neil Armstrong had had lunch in his place, and if I had been there, I would have been squeezed into the party.

Fifteen years later I am still kicking myself.

Muhammed Ali was made a freeman of my town, Ennis, a few years ago, and I was in the crowd. But because of his Parkinson's Syndrome, he did not do a meet and greet. Still, I got within a few feet of him.

Sorry, misread it. Those were people I almost met. The most famous people I met were actors. I qualified as a masseur, and as part of my final exam I had to massage seven people in one go. So I took my table out to a nearby location where they were shooting a movie. My seven included Ewan McGregor, Richard E Grant, Pete Postlewaite, Carmen Chaplin, and Greta Scacchi. It caused a few raised eyebrows, but I passed my exam.

I also met a Nepalese man who had been up Everest seven times without oxygen. That's seriously impressive.

I feel bad now. Can someone famous visit me? I'll pay for the beer. Maybe even lunch (depending on how famous you are).

I've met a lot of people so it's hard to recall. Most likely Adam West. I was in the same room with Henry Winkler once but we didn't actually meet.

My Grandpa worked for Bing Crosby once.

Do bands count? I've seen Styx, ICP, and Ozzy. I don't remember much though. Those Jello shots will get you every time.

I have also met P&T at their show (was even onstage with them as a volunteer!) but I wasn't sure if they were quite as famous as Adam West. I didn't really meet Lance Burton but he did ask me some questions from his stage.
Have also met Jenna Haze, who is very successful and famous within her niche.

They were filming an episode of Happy Days at Paramount. He and a couple others were on the casting sheets, but they weren't there right then.
