I narrowly missed having lunch with my hero, Neil Armstrong. He was in Tralee, Ireland, to open a major exhibition in the Kerry County Museum about lunar exploration. 40,000 people crowded the square in front of the museum to hear him speak. I took a day off work to drive down for the event.
At the end I decided to drop in on a fellow magician, who had his own restaurant in the town. But the traffic was crazy, so I turned around and went home. A few days later he told me that Neil Armstrong had had lunch in his place, and if I had been there, I would have been squeezed into the party. Fifteen years later I am still kicking myself. Muhammed Ali was made a freeman of my town, Ennis, a few years ago, and I was in the crowd. But because of his Parkinson's Syndrome, he did not do a meet and greet. Still, I got within a few feet of him.

Sorry, misread it. Those were people I almost met. The most famous people I met were actors. I qualified as a masseur, and as part of my final exam I had to massage seven people in one go. So I took my table out to a nearby location where they were shooting a movie. My seven included Ewan McGregor, Richard E Grant, Pete Postlewaite, Carmen Chaplin, and Greta Scacchi. It caused a few raised eyebrows, but I passed my exam.
I also met a Nepalese man who had been up Everest seven times without oxygen. That's seriously impressive.

I feel bad now. Can someone famous visit me? I'll pay for the beer. Maybe even lunch (depending on how famous you are).

I've met a lot of people so it's hard to recall. Most likely Adam West. I was in the same room with Henry Winkler once but we didn't actually meet.
My Grandpa worked for Bing Crosby once.

Do bands count? I've seen Styx, ICP, and Ozzy. I don't remember much though. Those Jello shots will get you every time.

I have also met P&T at their show (was even onstage with them as a volunteer!) but I wasn't sure if they were quite as famous as Adam West. I didn't really meet Lance Burton but he did ask me some questions from his stage.
Have also met Jenna Haze, who is very successful and famous within her niche.
