Not sure where to post this, but:
Do you ever buy "semi-magic" books you know you'll never really use, just out of curiosity? For example, I bought a couple of books about quick-change, just to see how it's done, knowing I'll probably never use it.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

It's the price of a good education. I must have a hundred books like that...all interesting, none usable.

To add to Tom's post, you never know when the information (or more likely, a small portion of it), will spark a thought that leads to something you will use.

I had some juggling books once.

I'm with Michael, I tend to get caught up in a personal frenzy at conventions that host a book collector on site. My library looks really cool but I must admit I've only read 30% at best! LOL HOWEVER, every time I carck a new volume I find something that leads to a new interest and quite often a new challenge!

A few here and there, especially with card magic.
Others I more carefully choose due to the cost of the books. My list of wants is huge, my library small. |

C'mon, everyone knows that merely owning a book makes you a semi-expert on the topic... especially if you've browsed the table of contents.
Yeah, I was bad about that when I was younger. Now I have relatively little free time, so I don't buy books any more. Problem solved... I guess. |
