Hello everybody, my name is Enzo and I thought it would be proper to introduce myself.
I am a big fan of card magic (of course!) and stand up magic as well (ropes, newspaper tear, etc.) Thanks for this nice place. |

Thanks guys. I live in the Seattle area and I am an IBM member of the local ring. I am not a pro, so I don't perform professionally (yet?); one of my best tricks, not for sale of course, was performed at one of those meetings and reported in the LR magazine monthly report area. The effect is that I performed a magic trick at the meeting while at the same time I was at home (in reality the ring reporter confused somebody else for me, it was fun to read about "my attendance").
I have been into magic - in and out - since I was 12 years old, when I received a "magic kit" as a gift. I got more into it since I moved to USA for work and I got a lot of spare time on my hands. I am a big card guys fan (Steve Forte, Darwin Ortiz) and my favorite uber all is Juan Tamariz, whom I never met in person. I attended a few lectures workshops through the IBM ring, the best one was John Calvert's lecture for which I was invited as an assistant in the spirited cabin trick: unforgettable, the guy had quite an impressive stage presence. I have read lots of books, watched too many videos, lurked in too many conversations. I hope I can chip in time to time to make good use of my amateur driven knowledge and opinions.
