I know that the choice of mattress is a personal preference, but what mattresses do you have/do you use/do you particularly like? I have had some minor back issues for a couple of years, and I don't sleep well at night. We currently have a Stearns and Foster pillowtop that was great in the store, but is not so great at home. This past summer we slept on a Simmons Beautyrest at a hotel that was WONDERFUL, but there were no markings on the mattress other than the brand, so I couldn't find out what it was.

Do any of you hve "inside tips" on selecting a mattress?

Always had good lucky w/ Beautyrest. Just find one that fits your budget---can't go wrong.

You can also call the hotel for the specific model name / number. Smile

I checked with the hotel, and they didn't have any specifics. Budget is not so much the issue, as comfort.

This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on:

Second is my Uncle's memory foam mattress.

Befor you even bring it in, put it inside a good quality bed bug proof cover. The ***ed things can appear out of no where, they only eat human blood and if even one slips in, you'll end up throwing out your new mattress. NS.

My Uncle's mattress is allegedly bed-bug proof. That was why he bought it. He lives in Vegas and is super-paranoid about bed-bugs.

Yes the memory foam from NASA rules. I love ours.

Though it occurs to me if NASA invented more space stuff instead of all the other stuff they may still be here.

That is a joke so fact checkers holster your fingers.

Agreed! If money is no object, look into them. They are expensive, our Hästens cost more than a new car but I have no regrets-had I known how good it is I would've paid double the price.
