Nothing that can't be done with a good: DL, tilt, and wrist kill. have all those three sleights down and you will be able to do the same thing without any gaffs. this is big time magic for magians nothing more. sad to see this from the man who invented stitched.

Trent, I know where you're coming from. Consider this as a cheap opportunity to try out the Science Friction spray, and it is totally different. I use this stuff for gimmicked effects that wouldn't be otherwise possible. I think for creative types, the spray opens up unexplored avenues for improving the magic we offer to our spectators. When you think of it that way, this isn't so bad!

@Zombie - you know, I'm not sure...So far for me, I've had my very first gimmicked card with SF last until I accidentally damaged the card itself. I would suppose this probably has a similar longevity to other sprays, like R/S, and it depends on how often you use it and the environment in which you use it. Think about how long an invisible deck will last, and I'd GUESS a SF would last just as long for you. I can't say for sure, as I haven't had any one of my gimmicks lose the spray treatment before I need to replace the card itself for some reason or another...

Dave and Craig of Wizard Product Review didn't care for it.

http://youtu.be/-hdR6Pn86Fc?t=6m34s

Craig did a short ACR and it looked great. Then Dave did a ACR without it and...it looked great. They felt you'd be best to get Daryl's Ambitious Card DVD.

I've done the ACR since getting Harry Lorayne's Close-up Card Magic in 1965. But, I like Science Friction treated cards. I'm a gimmick geek, I guess.

I think the boys were a little harsh. God bless them Smile

This release was meant as an inexpensive "taste test" of the Science Friction product (which Cari and Dave strongly endorsed).

Right now if you buy Ambitious Delicious, Christian (Cardshark) is offering a 100% credit towards the purchase of a can of Science Friction spray.

Those that want to test Science Friction without shelling out nearly $100 can do so by checking out this small taste - and they get $15 off their purchase of Science Friction at http://www.card-shark.de/

Yeah, I think this missed the purpose of the release - if you think ACR is all SF is good for....well, more for me and saysold, I guess. Smile
