. . . shall we begin singing the 'Silver Shamrock' theme? Too early? Too annoying? Too obscure a reference?

DocSpek--thanks for the steer to projected realities. Great fun! Anamorphics are our friends.

I have been doing the projected scenes for a few years now. They always get a great reaction. Some other places you can check out:

And my favorite of all time:

I remember that and now it's stuck in my head, dammit!

This is our last Halloween before the world ends (again), so let's make it a great one!

Dr Spektor,Thanks for the link.Do you have this? Is the projection bright enough to project videos in daylight or do you have to dim the lights a fair bit for it to be effective. I am thinking of projecting a video backdrop for one of my routines but have no control of the lightings.

I am finishing up a portable haunted cabinet box and a few other spooky effects for my upcoming Halloween shows - I always use a lifesize talking skull and spirit slates in my shows my performances as well.

It's 900 lumens
It isn't for regular presentations - it is designed for mostly for spooky things but if you go to the website and YouTube there are videos showing it in action - you do need a darkened room for many effects (not black out tho) and some things for the light - its made more for an ongoing loop - read up before you buy and be careful if you are a mac user - it works better with pc (although I got apple I have an old laptop pc just for these projectors)

This guy and others are described in the projected reality series too

As magicians we create what onlookers call magic. If they truly believe in what we have created for them to witness then magic is real!!!

Tony:
That is absolutely delightful--beautifully themed & performed . . . and what a superb audience! I suspect a number of future bizarrists were minted at that show. Very well done. You are a credit to the community (which we already knew, of course). Thanks for sharing.
