What is your favorite 2 cup routine?
I am working on David Williamson's 2 cup routine. I really think he is a genious and that routine is amazing. I will say though, following his teaching on his DVD is challenging. I spent about 3 hours rewinding the DVD and putting it all in print, so I could really understand what he was doing. But, now that I have it done, it is an amazing routine. I'm most impressed with the "misdirection package" that he displays during his closing sequence for his final loads. His routine provides so much natural cover. He is the best type of genious - a ridiculously silly genious! |

Some might say Tommy Wonder's routine, but I lean towards David Williamson's myself. It's a brilliant routine, short and to the point and utterly magical. I was a little confused by it as I tried to learn it, especially towards the end, but after a time it all falls into place and makes sense. Don't forget to inject your own personality into the proceedings, of course, as that is what will make it unique and memorable...

I dislike the weekly magic fail website, but I'll give credit where it's due, Ronald Henning has a pretty sweet 2 cup routine: http://sleightly.com/blog/2010/02/10/rol......routine/

Nope, it's in the other pocket. Again, okay this time with the other cup. You might also want to look up Hofzinser's routine. The one that folks can more easily get to is Tommy Wonder's. It's in his books and also on the DVD set. Might take some effort (or $) to get the props togehter. The performance is on line so here's a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJ6qT8JvaMY

I like Tommy Wonder do his routine, however in my view, Tommy Wonder 2 cups is a very difficult routine that uses a lot of misdirection to make things happened which is not easy to master, besides several props like bags, pom-poms, load, that must be fabricated.
Ouellete and Andrew's routines I think are easier and also very entertaining. Pablo |

Thankyou very much! I haven't done a lot with cups and balls yet, so I wasn't sure how it would be received. Gearing up to test it on an a close-up audience soon. I like to keep things short, but I think it will withstand an additional phase or two. Thanks again and best wishes for your recovery!
