Very clever and well performed. I think it would be even better if it was shorter.

He just won FISM with it (a newer version). Talked to Sylvester the Jester yesterday and he was so happy to see someone use the Sylvester Pitch.

Larry,
How long is your cups and balls routine? I really think posting a video of it would sell lots of copies of the Book of Destiny. Kent |

Hi Kent,
My routine is about 3:45 minutes which is about a minute shorter than the Cup and Tea Pot routine. My comments about being shorter come from several layman I showed this to who thought there was too much repetition. I thought the routine was great and enjoyed it, but I too think it could be improved by some limited editing. Was his FISM routine changed significantly? Larry |

Michael Weber told me he killed 'em at FISM with his "madman character" approach. I'm hoping to see a video soon, meanwhile I've posted on at www/pete-biro.com

I like the uniqueness of the "madman character" but I too think the Le Plus Grand version would have been better if shortened and using less repetition. I also felt at times that the "madness" was overacted to the point of being out of sync with the rest of the performance. Still a very nice take with some interesting interpretations - overall, I like it!
It would be interesting to see the newer FISM version too - maybe he did make the changes we are talking about here, maybe more. |

If you are going that silent theatrical route then the audience needs a story, the madman character made that difficult. I wish there was more of an internal dialog that told a story. There was some of that with the water but not enough.
