Rather than simply pulling specific cards and bottom dealing, stacking, etc.
Does anyone have any other ideas to use strippers to gain a mathematical edge by pulling certain cards ? (ie. Does anyone use strippers to cut cards "out of play" and use this knowkedge as an advantage, etc ?)

This is a really nice post.
I just got back from a trip and I am happy to see there is some fine discussions here. Tommy mentionned they were called combination strippers. If the reference is from the 50-60s when you had shops like the KC Cards and HC Evans, I was under the impression that combination strippers were in fact bellies that you could pull from the side (for example the aces) and another card (ex: kings) from the end ? Does anybody know what types of strippers were sold by the said shops ? I will definitely try to find the video... Slim |

They KC etc sold all sorts of strippers belly etc and you cound get all sorts of combinations from them but the things that are being called N strippers, we called combination strippers, and I am merely refering to the people I knew who showed me them. They were using them not in poker games but in three card brag games. A game which was a popular game, in the Foreign Legion clubs in particular. A fellow in the magic shop actually used to make them for them. I have never used them myself in any game.
If there is a single truth about Magic, it is that nothing on earth so efficiently evades it.
