I'm simply a hobbyist, a very well read and educated hobbyist. I master nothing.

If this weren't a more sophisticated forum I'd throw out that I'm a master baiter. But that sort of joke is sophomoric at best, so I won't bother making it.

Rehashing covered ground always makes me feel there is a glitch in the matrix.
Probably because we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imaginations of ourselves. |

I am reminded of what the Cat saw when he met 'the Pleasure GELF" in Red Dwarf very funny! "like buttoned the above" I figure the more threads about a subject the better. It increases the chances of finding info from the search function. Well to a point anyway. I'm on a skateboard forum and the first page has 10 or so topics with the same question in the header of each. that's well beyond not using the search function. Back to topic, If chlorine tabs work, would putting bleach in a cup and both trap and cup in a bucket work? I may have to try it and see if it works. |

Be careful with muriatic acid, the fumes can kill you. It's sometimes diluted and used in pools but it's also used to clean bricks.
It's very strong Wear gloves and a mask or you could die. The chlorine tablets or bleach are much safer. Tom

Zagam, sometimes I leave posts with the intent to let people go wild with puns and jokes.... I apparently "bated" and didn't catch anything (you should see the striped bass I caught last week... use a shad lure with small jig head smeared with chum).
I don't know about the effect of liquid bleach, but I do know that the tablets are much more concentrated. Chlorine is a gas, and it is poisonous. Funny thing, Sodium is a metal, and is equally poisonous. Without the proper combination of the two, life on Earth would not exist.

Lithium not too good for you either, or calcium come to that ( you wouldnt want to eat any of them) yet all essential to us for every second of our life. I have a great story about a student in a wheel chair whose leg burnt due to Lithum jumping off the water bath missing the safety screen on to his lap. Pretty scarey ... No feeling below the waist so he didn't notice at first! |
