I'd love to go, but I have several big events at which MJ and I will be entertainers so hopefully I'll make it the following year.

Perhaps for the rest of us who can't make it we'll have an online meet instead?

James,

Don't be so negative - yet. By then you could have another job making far more than you currently are and still manage to make it. You were certainly one that I was so looking forward to meeting. Chin up buddy. July is still 7 months away.

In the meanwhile, relax and have a joyous Merry Christmas.

Steve, I was looking forward to meeting you as well.

The closure of the facility where I work made the front page of yesterdays local newspaper.

I have accepted the wisdom of your council. I will become negative later Smile

He is right stay positive, I am in the same boat I have been out of work since july and thanks to our wonderful goverment and there fighting about the fiscal cliff my unemployment is out the first week of Jan. I still cant find work but I still plan on attending the convention. I firmly believe another door will open soon just stay positive. I am looking forward to meeting everyone.

Jim -
Not sure of my summer tour schedule yet, but home is about an hour or so from you. If things mesh on the out and back, I usually drive and would be happy to take you. With free travel, you only need worry about room, food and registration. Chances are someone will need a room mate. Stay in touch. I should have a clearer idea of my routes by mid-April.

My reservation has been made. Can't wait to see everyone again. Not only is it a great ventriloquist convention but it is a great family get together.

With Terry Fator and one of his comedy writers doing a script workshop - and then free tickets to Terry's full show which will be playing a theatre near the convention (they even include shuttle service) it is going to be an incredible year! Hope to see you there!

I was all set to cancel this year because of my daughters upcoming wedding. This morning when Bev and I were talking about it and I said I was going to cancel the hotel, she said wait.
I asked why and she said she knows how important this is to me and maybe we can swing it for me to go. I would feel bad as I know how much she enjoyed it but we are trusting in the Lord to provide and I am praying he provides shows so BOTH of us can attend the greatest convention in the world!

Hope it was great news on the job front.
Definitely good news about being able to go to the convention, wish I were still going so you, me, and Joey could meet up there.

Unfortunately no news regarding my employment situation.
I am however very happy about the possibility of attending the ConVention.

Unless some unforseen crisis arrises it seems my wife, son and I will be at the Convention and I will have a dealers table as well.

I want everyone to know this would not have been possible without the help of a very kind and generous anonymous person to whom I am extremely grateful!

I am busy carving, building and painting.

I look forward to meeting you all.

Jim - I'm so happy for you that you are able to attend!
Now I also wish I could have attended as I originally planned. Oh well, we'll meet some other day.
