Hey guys and gals, I've been playing DDR a lot lately and I want to know if anyone else plays. Once I get $250 I'm gonna buy two arcade metal pads and DDRMAX2. Let me know what you think of the game.....it's a very good workout too.

Dance Dance Revolution....you should see it in many arcades and malls.

Great workout, this game burns alot of fat and calories... HAHAHAHA! I play it here, I have the pads but I don't like it that much, so I go to the arcades and spend countless hours and alot of money just to jump on a board untill I sweat!!!

I've got Samba de Amigo with the maracas, which I think is sorta similar. Is this PS2 only?

Some games are and some aren't. In Enlgish there are around 20 different kinds I think. DDR Konamix, DDR 1st mix-8th, Disney Rave, many others.

Have you tried the version on Eye-Toy (a little camera) with PS2?

Then you can connect it to your computer and use it with DWI.

You do have DWI right? you can play a bunch of songs(I have every single one from 1 - extreme) PLUS tons of user made songs.... there are many good user edits for DWI out there.

My friend has the metal pad with the bar, and let me just say the contacts are very soft, they give a bunch more than arcade pads, it is just a different feel although you can still AAA with them.

Oh yeah I play DDR, well I used too, but I can pass everysong and usually AA most 9 footers...

Also getting a pad for your computer is better because you have more options, more songs and its pretty much all free.

I have stepmania with about 30 DWI songs. There are TONS of them that I haven't downloaded yet. If I were to build one I would have to bring my computer downstairs cause my top floor is ready to fall lol. Very old house. Thanks for that info.
