One of my wife acquaintances, and elderly woman, related this story which occurred within the last couple of days at a Las Vegas strip hotel/casino.
She was visiting some friends who were staying at the hotel/casino in question and they all decided to play the slots. (These people know nothing about chicanery and are legitimate people.) As they were playing, all of a sudden the casino security swooped down and surrounded a black lady on an adjacent machine. They reached over and turned over her one hundred dollar bill and there appeared to be a magnet attached to the underside on one end. They of course took the woman away. My wife’s acquaintance related that evidently this woman put the bill into the slot machine, and after it registered the amount as a credit, she used the magnet to pull the bill back out again. Of course, I am just relating my wife’s acquaintance’s story and conclusion and thought it might make an interesting post. No warranty expressed or implied on this story. |

Like the old coin on a string ... it's a beautiful story in that sense.
