I found it too boring and mundane to watch past the first few minutes. Did smile at the anachronistic puppet stand the vent uses.

Interesting concept. Perhaps a commentary on human nature. As Bob suggested, the stand was wrong for the setting, as were the telephone lines, and the dummy in fact. That is a Jackson (I think)/Maher figure probably made in the 80s. If I'm not mistaken, that one was actually named Chester in the original catalog. But, not bad for what it is.
