I like the little bell that comes with the H*bb's B*x. Cesar's may be nice and all that, but really $$$ is tight these days. What in the world makes a little bell cost over $300? The Outlaw Bell and a bit of homebrew electronics could REALLY save a guy some cash!

What I like about the Cesaral Spirit Bell is, it is entirely self-contained! If ya wanna hang it on something, the distance to the base does not matter! Aging it is a great idea, too. Yeah, I do see the value here. It's just WAY outta my price range!

Well, I don't think it is the Best as I don't believe there is such a thing - but it seems rather up to par with the high quality ones and looks very self contained.... And it does fit with a dream routine I've been trying to do for a while .... I shall share it (hey maybe I'll get a discount for this cesare? ). Heheh anyhow I guess I will pick it up just for this
Imagine you tell the story of the middle ages, premature burials of catatonic people and so on and how some had their graves connected to a string and a bell to ring in case the person was buried alive... In fact, you have the string and the bell from just such a grave.... Scary... But I also see this as an outdoor night effect... Take people to a secluded spot in the woods where a witch was supposedly buried (or the site of the little folk under the ground or whatever ) .... With a metal cylinder and spade you dig a hole and press the long cylinder down into the ground at any site where the grave or whatever is around based on a spec,s selection.... Thread the rope down the cylinder and attach to bell on a hookup.... All can be examined before during and after,... Anyway.... The witch, demon, or whatever is underground can ring the bell at the proper moment :)

Some more information about the bell:
The Cesaral Spirit Bell can be controlled with the 5 button remote included (with very practical and interesting functions), with the Cesaral Magic TT, and also with this new version of the Cesaral Magic TT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18H3E1tSkpo So, you can remote control it in real time in a really practical and invisible way. Hey Everybody!!
I received my Cesaral Spirit Bell today and I am OVER THE MOON thrilled with it!! If you have not seen the videos yet you should take a look. It works just as shown!!! It is so clever and so innocent looking that I scared my Wife with it in our fully lit kitchen on a beautiful sunny day at 10 in the morning. This is the real deal!! Cesar has crafted a truly MAGICAL Bell and he was a DELIGHT to work with from start to finish!! When this Bell rings it's going to FREAK people out- it's a moment that absolutely will stop my show!!I I HIGHLY recommend the Cesaral Spirit Bell!!! It's magnificent! Jim |

I can see why a electronic bell would be cool to play with but I tent to keep things like that out of my show as they have a tendency not to work when you need it most. lack of power is a big one, if they take batteries and your die your screwed, if they take a outlet......that limits where you can perform. for me the only reliable power source is me.
I prefer the old favorites as this also sets me in the proper mood and mind set to present the old school séance. |

Jim, sounds like you are happy with your bell, and it will be fitting for the context of your routine!
If your sitter is to hold,I would be sure to strap to her hand, you do not want to see that puppy flying across the room!

Please have a look at the attached picture to see how to avoid someone to damage the Bell if it drops. You can also see how it looks like here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmK_lwWNHgw It is very easy and fast to tie a rope around the Bell and then turn it around the spectator's wrist. This will even fit with many presentations, such as the great ones explained by Dr Spektor in this topic. Cesar Alonso (Cesaral Magic) http://www.cesaral.com Click here to view attached image. |

I recently purchased this from Cesar and so far am very pleased with my investment.
Here are a couple of the advantages / things I like about this bell...... 1. Easy to set up - there in't one as it is one sealed ready to go unit 2. Quick and easy to charge - simple 3 pin charging system. It doesn't require 10+ aaa batteries 3. It is what it is - a bell - can be examined and there is nothing to find - it doesn't feel gaffed either 4. The bell really does ring 5. You can activate the ringing of the bell in 5 different ways without any pre-programming / modifications - one ring - continuous ring - 3 different time delays with the standard controller 6. It is also compatible with his other controller that is truly invisible (TT) 7. I bought the aged version of the bell and he has done a sterling job on making it look old and weathered A top quality piece of kit Well worth your serious consideration Cliff |

I second Cliff's opinion. Plus Cesar is the epitome Of Customer Focused Sevice. Absolutely fantastic to deal with. My show Dark Carnival opens on Saturday Oct 13th, I'll let you know how the Cesaral Spirit Bell plays in a theater setting. I really am utterly delighted with it!

Well...I guess that's the bell to get. Unfortunately that leaves me out. Anyone else looking for a $30 to $40 Spirit Bell? I'm gonna shoot for cheaper than that. The Goodwill store, the Thrift Shop...hmmm the internet! I think eBay may have a generic bell that may be rigged...I like the two do-it-yourself projects on YouTube...
Hey, you guys that have $500 (Euro to $$$ = $496.71), yes...this rocks. That would wipe out half my monthly pension. If it's worth it to ya, hey...go for it! The rest of us...in this economy...cheap or "free" is my goal! Doug |

No further comments? Hmmm...I am a thread killer, that is for sure!
OK, I decided I'm on my own here. So, I contacted Tim W. and told him my idea. He said it would be a piece of cake. I'll probably end up with a very unique system. I'll be using the bell that comes with the H0bb's B0x from 0utl@w. I like simple. The Cesaral Spirit Bell is simple. Too expensive though. For a LOT of us. So, I decided to design my own system that is not only portable, but impossible to discover! Tim W. is a genius. He knew just what I need! The whole kit and caboodle will cost me just over $100! Now that I can afford! Doug |

In my opinion, the professional magician normally spends his little time developing and improving his performance, and rehearsing and performing as much as possible.
The mission of the magic creators like me is to provide the professional magicians with the best quality products so that they can save time and spent it in important things for him. Of course we deliver top quality products and also a good customer service. Time is money, and professional magicians deserve good products with a good service. This is why the Cesaral Spirit Bell is selling so well. Cesar Alonso (Cesaral Magic) |

The Cesaral Bell is really cool, I didn't thought that this bell can to fool and confuse Russian spectators. For now I use it in mental magic in pair with Cesarals cards and MicroPerception, and spectators really thinking that when they hold the bell for the rope, their force from the subconscious makes the bell ring, when I say the name of chosen card.
