A Hand in the Pocket
My variation of Sean Water's Hand Out from his book Contemplations.
A spectator reads your mind and names the amount of fingers you are holding up secretly inside your pocket and you can prove it!

I know I've been MIA on here for quite some time, but this brought me back from the abyss. "Faking It", Jose Prager's latest eBook, contains several effects (7.5 at the time of this review) that are simple, direct and powerful.

In his brief introduction, Jose mentions that you will not find any "new" methods within these pages. What you will find are some very interesting applications of these classic (and not so classic) mentalism principles. I truly believe that there is something for everyone in this eBook and the filler is kept to an absolute minimum. For some reason, "Faking It" reminds me a lot of Paul Carnazzo's "Carnage" - filler is nonexistent and the items presented are clear and direct.

While all of the effects are workable, I Know Who stands out as one of my favorites. Some may disagree with me based on the methodology involved, but I can assure you that it works. If you haven't tried using this method in performance, try it for yourself and see what you've been missing. I also like the effect because it involves a game many of us remember from childhood. I am sure the creative minds among us can come up with some interesting presentations for this effect.

Emotional Voice and Touching Noses also appealed to me and make way for some interesting presentational possibilities.

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed Jose's latest work and believe that "Faking It" is one of his best releases to date. Highly recommended.

Just used Touching Noses on national television this afternoon.

Worked great, and the producer had no clue.

What a great easy to do impromptu effect. All you need is a business card and pen and you are off.

Just to chime in, whilst the requirement of a p33k w8llet is mentioned, it can easily be substituted with any form of billet work as well.
