Saturdsy night, I performed my cups routine for the first time in 3 years. Most if you know I've been sick off snd on for years and lost my collection to medical bills. I recently snagged a beautiful set of Riser cups and worked the routine back up. I have been using a chip cup, but I really prefer a traditional 3 cup approach. Tonight I worked a 40th birthday party and did a 45 minute show beind the bar. I decided this would be the night I brought it back. Wand spin vanish, 4 loads...everything. It felt do good and it went beautifully!

Great news!
Your work deserves a nice set of cups.
Congrats on doing a fine job your first time back.

I’ve never used a Chip Cup myself…
is it a worthwhile improvement for Chopped ones?

Good to hear David! Glad the Riser's are being put to good use and hope you enjoy them in good health for many years to come.

Best,

Oops....Chop Cup, Don Alan from RNT. The main reason I bought that though was to learn the Jim Swain routine. OK, now that everyone has congratulated me, I'll fess up, I made one mistake during the routine. I had revealed 3 loads and the 4th was already to go. There is applause and I spun the wand to produce the last one and the wand went flying. Rather than look like a juggler bending over to pick up a dropped club, I just calmly reached in my bag and pulled out another one! Turned out it was pretty funny.

Magic is a beautiful medium for redemption of the human spirit.

Love your story!

May you go from strength to strength!

"To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time."
"The dog did nothing in the night-time."
"That was the curious incident," remarked Sherlock Holmes.
