Is this effect addicted to the English language or will it work in German as well?
Sorry for my English! My German is a little bit better ;-)

The words on the tags are in English, but the audience needs only recognize that they are different from one another (and need not be able to read them with understanding). Like playing cards, where it doesn't matter if you call the face card King or Konig so long as the spec sees that it's wearing a crown. Same rule apply to TOD. The instructions are in English. If that is not a problem for you, then you should have no issues with this effect. Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Prof BC

As long as your story involves the places named, and the final reveal matches the place they end up with the whole presentation can be in any language... My advantage is that I am English so the props look like something I might own... You just need to come up with a believable story of how you got them to Germany... As Prof says , it would work the same if you we're using cards or coins, but it really hits home when the items are interesting in themselves...
I have been using them in intimate situations and it really impresses the audience... Next Friday I am getting together with some old friends and some strangers in an old Bavarian restaurant and I plan to just allow people to handle all my props which I have accumulated over the past two years and jazz the evening... This is not a paid gig so I am able to experiment... I know that you shouldn't use more than one gaffed item in a show but this will be a special evening of happenings with my spirit guide D0nkey Judd...
