Strange, I wonder why that is? Anyway, it is about the American debt. They have weighed a dollar, its a gram, worked out America works all day and what does it get? Another day older and deeper in debt and it would take Tennasse Ernie 2470 years to load it at 18 tons a day.

What will effect the American debt will be more Americans working, 4 million would have to get a job today to get things back to just a bad situaion, then more money will go into the system. Life is easy when you cut through the crap.

Actually Tax Revenue has very little to do with Americans working. The reason that under the Clinton years there was so much Tax Revenue was due to the taxes paid on the stock options that occurred during the Internet bubble of the late 1990's. Taxes on stock where what really drove that rally, not the revenue generated from more working people.

Gina Rinehart, thought to be the world's richest woman, chastised miners for being “too expensive,” saying, “Africans want to work. Its workers are willing to work for less than $2 per day.” In a 10-minute recording posted on YouTube to the Sydney Mining Club, Rinehart lambasted the domestic mining industry, saying it couldn’t compete in a global marketplace. “Not with Australian prices,” she said. She also railed against the country’s carbon tax and regulatory “red tape.” But Rinehart’s most inflammatory statement by far was the comparison between Australian miners and those who work in developing African nations. “Such statistics make me worry for this country’s future,” she said. Rinehart’s remarks drew a sharp rebuke from Australia’s Prime Minister, and it is doubtful that even those African mineworkers would agree with Rinehart’s endorsement of a sub-two-dollar daily wage. Violence flared at a South African platinum mine three weeks ago after workers demanded what media outlet AFP characterized as a near-tripling of their monthly wages to roughly $1,500 (12,500 South African rand). |

I wouldn't worry about what some rich woman has to say about anybody or if all the jobs have been shipped to China. The important thing is simply to pursue what you love to do and figure out a way to get paid for it. Life is much to short to be worrying about such trivial matters as to what some rich woman thinks. It's a waste of valuable energy and time worrying about such things when that energy and time could be put to use pursuing what you love to do and getting paid to do it.

It now transpires that Ms Reinhart has 7 aboriginal half siblings. Her sainted father who wanted to dope their drinks to sterilise aboriginals and talked of 'no-hoper half-castes' in fact sired a few himself.
I saw an interview with a 66 year old half sister who looks a lot like Gina, though noticably more cheery, and better groomed. None of them inherited $75 from their father, let alone the $75 mill their half sister got, and none has ever made any claim - they've been happy to work for a living and make their own way in the world. |
