Depends on your dvd, if its region-free, but most dvd's today are that. I think L & L stated that dvd disc's today are made for the worldwide market.

NTSC and DVD region encoding are separate things. The majority of Magic DVD's are encoded as region 0, or special interest, which means they will play on any DVD player in the world.
NTSC is the video format. I think the English standard (like Australia) is PAL, which means you will need a TV which has the ability to switch to NTSC playback. Most modern PAL TVs have this functionality. If I do not switch my TV over to NTSC playback, the image is still viewable, but appears in black & white. This is specific to my TV, and you should consult the documentation that came with your TV for more information. |
