I, like so many others, learnt to juggle using the Complete Juggler by Dave Finnigan. I remember sending off for one of the achievement pins after I'd learnt how to juggle 5 balls. It was the only one I sent off for, and I still have it, but I was wondering if these pins were still available.

I'd like to buy a bunch of them for use in my circus workshops.

I don't mind buying new or if a juggling shop has a load they want to get rid of that'd be equally as good.

Anyway, if any of you lot can help out that'd be fab Smile

Great idea, Roslyn!

Do you have a photo of the pin?

It's none of those in the google search. I spent about half an hour googling before posting here and came up with a blank.

The one I got was round and was of a 5 ball cascade. A lovely pin actually. I believe there was a pin for the 3 ball cascade, diabolo, devil stick etc... I'll try and dig mine out and post the pic here.

That had to be 20 years ago. I'm sure they fizzled out long ago, but Dave Finnigan is a facebook member. Why don't you check with Dave?

Was it really that long ago? Cricky, that's a scary thought!

I'll go check out FB and see if I can find him.

Roslyn, have you tried making up certificates for your workshop students? These are great motivations for learning and you can print them up very cheaply. The certificates are for 10 catches of three balls, 5 steps on stilts, 25 catches of three balls etc etc.
Just a thought......

Hi,

Yea I do certificates. In fact I have made up a series of different levels for my students to aim for. I also use stickers, but I liked the look of these pins. They looked really special.
