Has anyone ever brought a portfolio of their balloon work to a potential client? If so, how would you suggest putting one together.

Digital photo key chain with all your photos or use your smart phone. This day an age I don't because all you have to do is give them a website, facebook or you tube link and they can find it in 30 second from the own online media device.

I was trying to explain to my better half that I could just bring my laptop with my photo gallery on it, but he insists that it won't look professional. So I'm torn.

I have a folder on my phone iPhone that says Balloons With Style. There are currently about 100 photos in that folder of my work. Some studio shots and others shot in the field. Easy Breezy!

I've always had photos on my ipad, but recently I have started bringing a physical portfolio with me sitting out. It's helped immensely as I don't have to really keep an eye on it. At every event, it makes it's way around to the adults with them showing each other some of the bigger creations.
It's nice when I am working an extremely large event and my menu is limited, they see the differences when I am able to do the big balloons. They can also look through the extremely large corporate creations I have had to make. I made ours in photoshop with pictures and descriptions on each page. The descriptions can say things like, "This creation took over 1200 balloons and 80 man hours!" or whatever the sculpture is. We then got it printed, bound, and laminated so it looks nice.

Did you have it bound professionally or just use a photo album so you can continually add stuff? |

I wasn't aware that you could set up folders on an iphone, I'll have to look into that.

I did it that way so I could add things and take things out as I need to. I didn't want to have to get everything re-printed when I have a new project to add.
