I created some play money based on Monopoly money (see attached). Use linen paper for proper consistency. And create a jig to cut bills out to have consistent sizes.

I scanned real dollar bill to match the color, which, surprisingly looks more yellow on the play money but when edges are aligned, its a match.

This works out as I can easily customize bills for an event to then hand out.

Also found that changing $1 into $100 raises more questions that amazement. While busking, I don't want people wondering why I just don't change small bills into large.

I love the idea of Monopoly money, especially for a kids show, plus you can give some $100 to the birthday child at the end. I'm not an arts and crafts kind of guy. I wish you could print and sell them, however, I would imagine copy right laws might interfere with production.

I know that you get impact using 1’s to 100’s, but 2’s to 20’s gives you a wonderful story to tell about mistaking a 2 dollar bill for a 20 dollar bill.

I finally found a way to make money with magic.
(Introduce some mismade bills)
I get these from a friend that works where bills are printed. Instead of wasting the paper, I get these for $0.75 each. (Hand a couple out for them to see)
(After taking those bills back) Well, with using magic... (Turn into dollar bills)
Now, these serial numbers are not in the system yet, so these are counterfeit at the moment. For me to legally use these, I text the serial numbers and PayPal $0.35 each and they get put into the system.
I am gonna be rich in no time at all!

I’m not an arts and crafts kind of magician. I need to get to work, turn on the computer, watch the instructional video until my gimmick is great and my presentation is even better.
