Hi everyone,

I saw this sawing in half illusion on this website http://www.magichappens.com.au/MagicShow.html where can I get this? I really like this as it doesn't have any angle problem and can even use a audience... I deeply appreciate your help to tell me where I can get this.

Cheers

Maybe you should contact 'Magic Happens' and ask, I'm sure they will remember where they purchased it from.

Ok. I give him a email then. But I have saw this illusion before performed by a French magician that have came to my country before. He uses a sofa chair to perform this illusion.

He didn't reply my mail. Sad... If anyone know where I can get this, please tell me... Thank you a million.

I like that Tilford illusion... But it is $20,000.00 in my currency!

That's "Girl Without a Middle" or "Cutting Into Thirds", often credited to Thurston but you'll find methods listed in a number of books & illusion "encyclopedia" (Hay, Ayling etc). Though some methods for it are propriatry there are plenty in the public domain so it's somthing you can go to just about any reputable builder and ask for.

Expect to pay around $4500 for a "non propriatory" version and $6000 upwards for one of the more unuseual methods / designs.

Mike of Michelangelo Magic Wks. (based in UT) offers a very nice, similar effect entitled "Unbreakable". Mike is an extremely creative, innovative thinker-- highly recommend him for gathering more ideas on the effect-- he's a nice guy and might lead you in the right direction in obtaining the illusion you're looking for.

His email is michelangelo@illusionist.net
