Does anyone know where to get a Shiner coin in UK coinage?

I did some thorough searching. Not a thing did I find! It might have to be custom-made. Lassen/Schoolcraft, ahhh but you're in the UK...even Roy K in Canada. I thought there was a gaff coin maker over there...who was it...A guy in Sweden/Norway or Denmark, I can't remember. Anyway, good luck!

Jim Riser will make you a beautiful concave mirror shiner on any coin. He recently made one on an old Liberty Quarter I sent him. His work is outstanding.

It might be worth talking to Mark Mason (jbtv.co.uk); he works with Bob Swadling who is - aside from being a total legend - one of the best coin gaff makers.
I've had custom work done by Mark and Bob and it was stunning. |

Mark Mason is fantastic. Van Dokkum I have heard good things about as well. Good luck Boydy! Let us know what you decide. Doug |
