Ironically at the time of this comment: the thread right above this one is about Liverpool enacting stricter regulations on busking. But they want to encourage busking as an option to supplement income.
Great example of the right hand not knowing what left hand is doing Have to go now...running off to borrow done money from my parents to start a business...

I think you are misreading that. There was only one mention of a guy who busked to get train fare...that was it. Other than that I didn't see nothing that stated the poor should busk.
