I should have not used the word majority. My post was mainly referring to fatshatter in this thread, and the others like him in other threads. It's not hard to spot them. Sure they may be able to win a few arguments on Internet forums......but arendt likely losing at life. How ya doing AllAboutMagic? Feeling good about yourself today? Hope you're doing well. First thing I'm going to say to you is the word actually followed by the word think makes no sense to me. Can you not actually think about something? I'll let that sink in. Second, how many Magicians do you know? Well how many do you think there are? Do you think you can address the majority, like that has some weight, of them and categorize them as social idiots? Third, do you really think anyone would enjoy being a societal reject? Not that I would know but that being an unpleasant thing I'd go with a no in this case. Fourth, you have me curious as to your scale of winners and losers. Could you flesh that out a bit? What's the criteria for a winner or a loser in your book. From what I can tell asking a few logical questions and expressing an idea that is not popular in a certain group qualifies one as a loser. Am I wrong? If so please clarify. Fifth, I could spend some thought and come up with a derogatory name tied to allaboutmagic but I'm not going there. Kinda grade school stuff that doesn't appeal to me, what with the lack of being in grade school and all. Finally, I don't come here to win arguments cause that poster going around about winning an argument on the internet is true. That and there is no prize or benefit involved, where is the gain? If you'll notice the exchange between Laurie and myself you'll see an exchange of ideas, not necessarily in line, without name calling or character attacks. This is why I come here, an exchange of ideas, being aware that my views are not mainstream. I'm also aware that I may be incorrect in some or all of them. By discussing what I think and what others think everyone has the possibility of learning something. It's mentally stimulating to hash out ideas, thoughts, beliefs. I'd respectfully suggest that if you don't want to participate the thing to do is not participate. Or you could continue to bad mouth me and the "majority" of Magicians. Or it could be therapeutic for you and you should continue, like I said I could be wrong. |

Feel free to come up with silly variations on my name. Go back to the grade school stuff! It'll make you live longer. Didn't you ever see that Twilight Zone episode about Kick the Can? |
