Anybody have any experiences with this wallet? It is available at Stevens Magic.
Thanks for any info! |

It's very nicely made and deceptive. Basic effect: You write a list of items and have a spectator think of one. Then you turn the wallet (which holds a pad of paper) toward you and check one of the items. When spectator announces his thought, it's the item you checked. You can follow up by drawing a line through one of the items, with the same result -- which means, for example, you could have a list of actors and have someone think of his favorite, then his least favorite.

Thanks for the info. Is the wallet of good enough quality that it can serve as an everyday carry wallet?

Is it a self contained effect? Is there a need to buy any replacement parts for this trick? Thanks

Sorry am I missing something? This effect the way it has been described could be done with just a swami gimmick. Would anyone be kind enough to post a link to the website, so I can check out the wallet and its price.

Answering some of the questions above, it's a self-contained trick with no need to buy anything else. One part may eventually get lost, but you could easily make the replacement.
This isn't really a wallet, so no, it couldn't serve as an everyday wallet. It's more of a leather notepad -- not exactly something you see every day, but not too "magic-y" looking, either. Here's the link: http://www.stevensmagic.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=1194 Cheers, Jerry |
