That looks really bad to me... Extremely obvious and seems pointless. Sorry. Not trying to hate just giving my opinion.

Looks ok but why the dramatic over the top music ? You would think it was a video about some one building the pyramids & not simply the effect of a card changing.

Exactly. Waaay over the top video promotion for a lackluster trick. Did Ellusionist make this?

I love these magic trailers which start with fancy, professional stock graphics / audio and then cut to poor quality video footage! A bit like opening a Rolex box and finding a cheap plastic watch inside...

My aim is just to share my video with magicians to have opinions..
As you can see, the trick is not available, why will I have to rise the topic ??! Magic_tony, can I have an explanation about your message ? You think that the trailer isn't representative of the trick ? I perform it for 3 years now in restaurant, to others magicians, etc.... And many persons love it !! I find persons criticize easly youngers magiciens without good reasons... Jordan |

Jordan, Many magicians are cynical. We've seen many upstarts post here just to promote their product which despite their best efforts is usually an old trick with new dressing or at best a lackluster effect that's way over-priced. I'm not saying YOU are like that. You may or may not be. I don't know you.
And, yes, I'm an American.

It could be the case, but the trick is not available.... So I don't see the interest...

It looks very clean and simple, but perhaps with some angle issues for the walk-around folks. I'm not sure it is prime for a single trick purchase, tho.
I'd send it off to the magazines or use it for a page in your book. I'd also think to use it as one half of a nice card transpo. I'd put another card in play that changes places, your move being the visual proof of da Booga-Booga.

Ditch is really easy to do, and the change can be done COMPLETLY SURROUND !!
I'm working on a trick that I've created 3 years ago, and this trick will be on a french magazine last month (September/October) but for the moment I CAN'T show you what it is...... Do you think Magic Magazine or Genii Magazine put a trick that was already published in a french magazine ? Jordan |

Thanks you guys!
The very interesting part is that the card is sign and examinable at the end of the trick ! Jordan |

Looks good, I'm intrigued, no flaps or special pieces and is able to be examined...

Show me the whole back of the card after the switch, not just half. If you can do that...then you have something.

Since I've put the video on YouTube, I've create others methods to perform Ditch. The first : you will use a card without extra piece but the card CAN'T be sign.... The second, you will use a card with one extra piece and you CAN sign the card !
In the two case, the card is given as a souvenir ..! Stanyon, in the video it's true I show only one part of the back, but trust me, you can can show the entiere back card ! Jordan |

Pretty neat.. a vid tip... when using stock titles and such from Motion, FCP, Premier something you buy etc, one thing you can do to keep somewhat of an edge to the actual video shot when it's just plain video is to dupe a layer, add some over saturation and a guassian blur and put that layer on Overlay or Soft Light. Works good with photos as well. This might be waaaaaay to technical of a statement for this post but what the hey!
Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed and Tommy Emmanuel are all you need to study to learn to play guitar.
