Spiders. Also, I do not mention this often, but for this discussion, and the members of the Café' I will make an exception. I have a rare phobia. It is called "Calagenaphobia". It is the fear of beautiful women. I have had it ever since I can remember. It has always been difficult for me to make conversation, even eye contact with a woman I found attractive. Unless I am on stage (or in e-mail). Weird. Other than that, not much else.

Spiders and scorpions. Arachnophobia size medium. Trying to get rid of it by facing them. I was at a snake exhibition couple of weeks ago and there was couple of tarantulas there. Just tried to look at them and relax, but they are CREEPY....
Here in Finland spiders are really small. But I'm fighting them with broom to get them out of the house. (It's gettin cold and they're getting in) Allways trying not to kill them, It's considered bad luck in here. |

I go out of my way to kill them. Considering that (in my mind at least) all spiders no matter their size are deadly creatures, it is very good luck to kill them. The only GOOD spider is a DEAD spider.

I have a problem with heights as has already been mentioned.
I also fear dying in an agonizing painful way. GlenD

I am afraid of....
Getting stuck in a mindless job for 50 years and having to convince myself that I did the right thing! comprimising my morals anything happening to Connor (my son) small bugs with big teeth!
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are

I am afraid of alot of things.
Read that as 'a large number of the same things' like... Squating off road in Arizona and realizing your feet are planted smack in the middle of a colony of hungry red ants... Carrying a piece of old furniture from the barn and realizing your hands have become bridges for the forty female wolf spiders and their seven thousand newborns... Taking out a window air conditioner and exposing three hundred stink bugs to daylight who then suddenly take flight to the safety of your hair... I can go on, but I'm getting creeped out! |

Large bodies of water, especially at night.
And ghosts, like the ones that just stand there at the end of your bed and watch you sleep, all see-through and dead... not that I've seen one, but I'm scared it might happen one day. |

I'm scared of smart crazy guys that stalk and go after women. I've had it happen to me before and this sort of thing scares me half to death!
