In the October 2012 issue of Bluff magazine, it reported that the US Department of Justice has filed a second amended civil complaint involving the Black Friday case. The amended complaint target assets that were allegedly purchased with illegal proceeds, and they include homes and/or car purchased by Howard Lederer in the Las Vegas area; as well as two homes in Glendora, California, both by Ray Bitar.
A review of bank records for the Howard Lederer account at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. held in the name of HH Lederer Consulting LLC, numbered 7655741861 (the Lederer Consulting Account), shows that from approximately December 2006 through September 2011, at least $44,314,997.31 in US currency that was directly tied to criminal conduct was deposited into the Lederer Consulting Account. The US Attorney’s Office is now seeking forfeitures in the following amounts from the following individuals since the expenditures detailed in the complaint were acquired using illegal funds: Howard Lederer - $42.5 million, Chris Ferguson - $42 million, Ray Bitar - $40.8 million, Rafe Furst - $11.7 million. The amended complaint includes many new claims for relief enabling the DOJ to contend that the defendants used personal purchases to conceal gambling proceeds and illegal distributions. The other 11 claims for Relief include illegal gambling, wire fraud and varying charges of money laundering. If these guys cop a plea or the alleged charges are proven, looks like they may serve some serious time in prison. |

Lederer has been spending some time in Bobby's room lately. Hope he doesn't lose too much of that money he owes
