I like both these creators. Dan's even wearing his "Growing Ring" in the demo!

The Ad:
"An impromptu rubberband penetration that's visually stunning! All you need is one ordinary rubberband and your hand, there are no gaffs, no gimmicks, and no preparation. You show your hand on both sides and wrap the band around your fingers. The band then penetrates through one finger at a time - you can even show both sides of your hand after each penetration"!

This looks really good, and it's impromptu!

I would do the beginner jumping band trick. the 2 phases as you'd see Dan Harlan do or Oz Pearlman on the beginner's magic DVD.

Then go straight into this. So if they knew knew the jumping band trick, it'd be A-Okay because you would fry them with this.

This looks &^&#&* impossible. Where you find these Zombie?

I cannot see a review doing this justice. Both sides shown, no gimmicks.

I think I know how its done though. The band is actually going through his fingers, there is a break in there. You have to have a small break in each finger. This will only work with about 6% of the population.

Okay Michael, how are you getting along with this? Is it really as it shows in demo?

I saw Dan do this live and in person last week. It looks incredible in real life. Killer effect.

Also: what a great name for an effect.

Did you find it easy to perform? Learning curve?

Decomposed, my wife works on her business, so we're side by side all day/night. So, I look at most of the magic sites for new things that may be of interest. Eventually someone would post about it. I know I really like it when others find something interesting and post it.

Some play golf, fish, etc. Magic is my hobby and I enjoy talking about it.

You are a gentleman and great passer oner......Smile

I do love impromptu magic,,,,,especially something I can lead into mentalism with. Illusion of the mind and then BAM!

I have watched the demo about a zillion times. It still looks impossible.

Thank you Sir!

I have to say, this looks really good. It says "No Gimmicks, 100% Impromptu".

How is that possible?

I just watched it three more times. Says you can show both sides after the penetration. And also each phase.

Ive never seen any rubber band trick like this.

It's definitely not too hard to perform, and yes, totally impromptu with a borrowed band!

I'll wait for more reviews.
On a less positive note, it is very pricey for a single band trick DL.
On a positive note, if you use it for life, its great value.

Can it be used with bright colour bands without flashing / problems?

It is pricey but like you said Charlie, if its something you use a lot, its worth it. I also was wondering about bright colored bands.

It got me to take out some bands and routine crazy man again. Smile

WOuld love reviews but for some reason, I don't think we will see as many for this. I want to be wrong of course, not because its not great, its just there are lots of things being put out right now for the Christmas money.

Any color of bands is fine. I've performed this in the past with bright blue bands!

It's nice to see something different but my question is, how hard/obvious is the "dirty work" (Of which they didn't really show much of but for good reason I am sure)

Hey guys! Allow me to chime in with a couple of comments, and hopefully answers!

I first saw Dan do this live about 2 years ago, and I'm really excited that he finally put it out!

Yes, it's totally impromptu with only 1 band and no gimmicks. We took about 20 copies with us to the Genii convention last week, and completely sold them out. I personally learned it on the plane ride from NY to Florida. I'd say it took about 5 mins for the basic moves, and maybe 20 before I was feeling fairly comfortable and smooth. So figure around that long to sort of get it down, and then additional time to really make it flawless.

In addition to the core routine, Dan covers variations so you can choose to mix things up. Do the penetrations covered or uncovered, fast or slow, etc.

I really love this and will be doing it ALL the time. I'm a rubberband junkie, I love CMH and other band effects. I added this one to "the list" right away!
