Hello all,
Here's a revised handling of my original effect published back in 2010, "Do you like scary movies?". Many effects occur (color changing backs, etc) as you tell the story of a few teenagers chased by a mysterious serial killer... Fan of slasher movies will dig it! This version is a bit more direct to the point. In this PDF, I give you the basic patter I use. I encourage you to feel free to expand/change it with your own ideas and style, thus making this routine your own. Original feedbacks: "This is a really, really good packet trick. I love it. Even people who don't normally like packet tricks, but like scary movies, will probably enjoy this as the presentation is great. And, like a lot of Raphael's stuff, a lot of magic for very little effort." - Cameron Francis "This is a REALLY cool effect! [...] You definitely have a WINNER!" - Vlad (from the Magic Café) "I really like this one - it's a well structured, direct effect, based on a great movie. [...] Your presentation manages to successfully capture the atmosphere of that movie." - Peter Duffie "I am going to definitely use this one and in fact, it's going right into my performing repertoire! [...] I am sure a lot of people will like this trick." - Andrew Loh The original e-book will be updated on lybrary.com and people who bought it from me will receive the new file for free as soon as they e-mail me. Otherwise it will be available for $7. BUT until October the 31th, you can get it via paypal at r.czaja@libertysurf.fr for only $3! It is a great deal as Halloween approaches! Best, RAPH

This IS a fun effect and by changing one thing you could use a Jack The Ripper presentation. Keep up the great work Raphael!

Thanks Vlad. Obviously once you get the structure of the routine you can tell any serial killer story you like.

Hey Raphael,
Thank you man! I am doing this with Tarot cards, specifically a Lovecraft inspired deck called The Necronomicon Deck. The images are dark and disturbingly beautiful and your effect works VERY well with these. |
