I hope the dang fade out starts working.
I have yet to use this device WITHOUT an assistant. My two biggest problems are: 1. The fade out. When I press the fade out button. It always screws up. Sometimes it will actually fade into the next song or won't even play the next song so the fade out is a HUGE problem. 2. I have had other issues where it will actually merge with the next song or sound effect. I will play a song or effect and then it just runs into the next one even though I haven't prompted it to do it. It really feels like you need someone to actually look at the screen rather than just keeping the remote in your pocket or on a belt. There are several other little issues but those are the biggest. So now I have to pay MORE money in the ITunes store for repairs that came on the 1.3??? |

I just downloaded the 1.3 version on an Ipad.
The fade out has a HUGE delay take like 20 seconds to fade out a track. The second issue is I saved many setting to different tracks then when I went back the setting aren't saved. I worked hours and hours to get all these tracks to line up for a show and then it craps out on me. It also won't allow repeats of tracks in show cues unless you do it manually. |

Kevin,
The remote control fade does take longer as it is a hardware fade. The fade out is not 20 seconds, actually less than 10. The remaining time is the hardware resetting itself. There are faster software fades you could select if you need a faster fade and reset. Most customer do not need to play another song any sooner than that, otherwise you could also edit the tracks and play them out without fading. There are many options. The setting for the different tracks are tied to the track names and that is why we suggest you not use dupe names. Anytime a track name is loaded, all the settings for that track are automatically loaded. Rename the dupes like this, for example: audience play-on1, audience play-on2, etc. If the settings are not saved, it is probably because you forgot to press the "save" button. I hope that helps, Carl |
