Hey Guys.
I am interested in Entertainment CRM's - especially Showbizcrm and Giggio. At the same time I would love to know your entertainment specific CRM websites software? Is it really needed to go to the fact of having an entertainment CRM or would something like contactme.com be fine? Contact me is also a FRACTION of the cost of the other two softwares mentioned, just not entertainment specific... I look forward to your insights. Cheers

Hey James,
I'm the co-founder with Michael of ShowBizCRM, and begged/pleaded/cajoled Michael into helping me make a comparison chart (the research is tedious, and making it legible was fairly annoying, too). Please take a look. http://www.showbizcrm.com/index.php/what-itis/features Thanks in advance for your time! Our price is about 1/3rd of what most of us pay for our cell phones. I can't keep my gigs going without a cell phone, and I found Michael to create this tool (ShowBizCRM), which I also use daily. km

ShowBizCRM and Giggio seem great, but I'm cautious about the monthly fee.
Has anybody used http://www.woofl.com? |

Hi cabaretmagician!
Are you a user or developer of the above? And if so, how does it get its makers paid if it's free? Cheers, km

Hi Kevin,
Nope, I'm not involved with it in any way. I just Googled 'CRM for entertainers' and it came up so I thought I'd ask. |

The big concern about Giggio is that there is no contact information anywhere on their site. No one to contact. I am sorry, but once you start paying the monthly fee and want to stop it, how do you do that? Giggio seems great...but customer service doesn't seem to be available.

Hi,
I have looked around at other CRMs, ShowBiz takes the cake. It will take you a bit of time to learn and set up, but honestly - I came inches from actually hiring someone for specific months to work in my office...no way I could get away with paying them $29.99 a month. There support team is incredible too. I looked at Giggio and Woofl - not even in the same league. |

Just saw this Bradacal.
Thanks! I'm rescheduling with Michael for us to do a new push. We are both anti-morning people, but will be rising early for the next two months. Go ahead and sign-up if you haven't. It is free for six weeks, and as you can see, I'm a real person you can yell at if it's not as promised. But please don't yell on the Café. :) km

I'll jump in here too guys. I've used two other products before converting to ShowBiz. One PC based, and the other web based. ShowBiz is the best that I've found. Yes...it'll take you a few hours to customize it for the flow of how you run your business. Ultimately, it saves time. It follows up on leads for me. I get busy and don't have the time to make all of the necessary follow up steps. It handles so much of that for me. I didn't like the cost at first. However, when I've seen it help me close sales that I'd likely have let fall through the cracks....well it pays for itself. All I can say is take Kevin and Michael up on the free 6 week trial. They'll work with you to tweek it to suit your needs. Then, step back and watch the magic happen.

I have used ShowBiz CRM for a year and a half. I also had an issue with the monthly fee, but in the end it is well worth it. The most powerful part is the email workflows. It is an autoreponder on steroids. You can send emails with PDF's custom created by ShowBiz CRM. You can send them on ton's of different variables, and the best thing is the e-sign option, which has greatly increased the response speed and rate of return for my signed contracts. The client just has to type their name in a box and the contract is signed. No printing them up, signing, scanning them, and emailing or faxing them back.
It does take a lot of time to set-up, but it is also good because it makes you think about your sales process. The software comes with templates for standard types of shows, but I customized it with my details and combined it with their ideas. Most of the work is setting up how you respond to sales inquiries and what you want to say to your client and when. One other thing I really like is the ability of the client to select a package, and pay for a deposit right from your email. There is so much that this software can do, and it will make your life easier after you put in the work to set it up. |

We're just looking at Giggio and Showbiz. It's amazing, Giggio doesn't have a customer support phone number, a contact button, nothing! You can't contact them if you need something fixed!
No name, no email address, nothing! I'm not even sure how to end our free trial so we don't get charged. Terrible. |

So I use a combination of aweber and Zoho CRM. Can show biz replace these?

Right now, that is the thing I am championing most at Show biz as I don't like the idea of using two systems for a crm and a scheduled messaging system for an email list opt in form.
That being said, it is currently possible. But here's the catch, every time you get an opt in, a "gig" will be created even though they may just want the messages you have with the opt in form. It's an inconvenience because you have I go in and delete the gig. This would be especially annoying if you get a huge surge of opt ins at once for whatever reason. The other downside is show biz doesn't offer any dynamic or up to date web form designs. I've gone about doing this myself a bit, but I know I will have to do a lot more work, or even hire a developer to make the designs I'll need within the year. Still, it's a great CRM that does the job, and is already highly customized to the needs of a working entertainer. It saves me so much time, and is the reason I've become organized enough to keep growing. |
