Hi there! My name is Dan Eckert. I am a 19 year old magician from the PA area. I like to focus on stage magic, and hope to bring a somewhat classical yet relevant, high theatre-esque approach to magic. I have been performing professionally for about 3 years now, and I hope to make a go of the magic community! My inspirations are: David Copperfield, Lance Burton, Howard Thurston, Keller, Aaron Fisher and the Bammbergs.

Welcome Dan Eckert Illusionist,
The Café has a lot to offer you as a young Stage Professional. I've gotten some great advice here in Parlor size but they know a lot about Stage work as well. -Mary Mowder |

Welcome! Sounds interesting, hope you will have a great stay. This is a great place for knowlege and experience from really good and friendly people! Hope you will like your stay.
I am more of a parlour magician myself, but I am starting to lean more towards setting up a stage show. I have an idea of a pretty modern type of show with a lot of not so classical effects (even tho I still do some classics when I do the occasional stage performance as it is now). So, what kind of stage do you do? Illusions and bigger things with a lot of dancers and the whole kit, or a mix of "regular" stage effects with some illusions? Be well and see you around the Café!
